I absolutely love the kids in this family. I’ve been blessed to take their pictures several times and they’re all so polite with such fun personalities and so full of life. They’re always so happy, they just make me smile.
This session (in addition to capturing some great family portraits) was all about the brothers and we braved the wind to hang out and get some nice pictures of these handsome and fun little men. They’re so cute I was just grinning from ear to ear while looking at their pictures. Here are two that I loved from our session last night:

This cutie often makes me work hard to get her photograph but it’s always worth it because she has the cutest expressions:
After some pictures with mommy and daddy we went over to grandma and grandpa’s house to play with the baby goats:
This sweet little one had a house full of people wrapped around her little finger and with good reason… she’s an absolute doll. She made us work hard for each picture, but every minute was worth it. Hopefully mom feels the same way, she definitely worked harder than anyone else during our session!

Recently Ms. Bethany, her mom and I traveled to the park in Muleshoe, Texas to take some fun pictures in honor of Bethany’s 6th birthday. It’s great to hang out with a kid, having footraces, laughing and getting pictures that commemorate special milestones in the child’s life. We casually hang out, laugh, play and have a great time while the child is the center of attention for their own personal photo shoot.
Undoubtedly we capture those certain expressions that generally only a parent will recognize. You know - those ones that remind you of the baby you once rocked to sleep and the rapidly growing child that you want so badly to stay young forever, all wrapped up in one single picture, perhaps similar to this one:

A moment later she’s grasping her purse with a cute expression and gorgeous smile and you realize that she’s growing up faster than you’d like to admit:

5 minutes later she’s romping around the playground and you realize that maybe you have a few more years before you have to fret too much!

Bethany got new roller skates for her birthday and she showed me her mad skating skills on a concrete pad near her house. She could certainly out-skate me with very little effort!
