The snow and freezing cold didn’t keep this fantastic family from coming out for some great West Texas winter family portraits!

I’m busily finishing up projects, rounding up a few small last minute holiday gifts and preparing for Christmas. It feels a bit like Santa’s workshop here with all the packages and wrapping everywhere!
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who take time from your busy lives to read and follow this blog. Having a job you love that also allows you to meet the very people who make the area you live a wonderful place to build a life and raise a family is a true blessing. I am thankful for the opportunity this amazing business has provided for me to get to know so many of you. Happy Holidays from my family to yours!

When I showed up to take pictures of this handsome little guy, he was watching Cars on the computer. We headed outside and had a great time feeding the fish, playing in the sandbox, golfing… he’s definitely all boy!

He has his own set of clubs, just like grandpa:

The sandbox looks remarkably like a bunker…

Does she not have the most beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes you’ve ever seen?! What a gorgeous child and with a personality so full of spirit, you just can’t help but smile when you’re around her.
Mom gets an extra big sneak peek. Thanks for your patience Jamie!

We got so many fun pictures that I had a nearly impossible time picking a few to share.

Miss H went inside and came out with this umbrella. She sat down and promptly started playing a fun little game of peek-of-boo… she knew I wanted to see her face and she thought teasing the lady with the ‘big black thing’ in front of her face would make a fun game. The umbrella matches her outfit though, the kid has style <wink>.

After playing at home for a bit we headed out to the park to take some more pictures with mom and dad:

Miss H promptly scaled a huge climbing rock with the agility of a seasoned climber. Thank goodness dad was around to lend a helping hand for the trip down:

A game of tag is a fun thing to play at the park, especially with dad!

One last picture of her adorable grin. She was fearless on the playground, I’m telling you! This seat had an offset center of gravity that caused you to spin and spin and spin… I got dizzy just watching her ride it! It eventually got the best of her, but after about two seconds she was ready to run and play some more.

I couldn’t resist putting up a little preview of two of the guys in their gear earlier in the week. Here are a few more from our awesome session. This family was fun, can you tell?!

When they’re not horsing around, they look more like this:

Mom and Dad need a spot here too!

I love it when a family has a cool barn. They’re one of my favorite places to get interesting family pictures:
