Sneak Peek | Picture Perfect Fall Day

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking pictures of the children at an area preschool. This lovely young lady was one of the students:
When I went to her house to take family pictures, she quickly showed me her bedroom and all her favorite toys and books. Mom has her room decorated like something straight out of a Martha Stewart children’s decor magazine, it was adorable! I generally work outdoors but loved the opportunity to take pictures of her reading and playing in her cute bedroom.
After playing with little brother in the backyard on the swingset for a bit, we captured some great family portraits:
We then headed over to the local park to find some beautiful fall colors. I love the look of pure joy on the childrens’ faces in this picture. It reminds me of one of those childhood memories when you’re out playing with mom and dad, just being silly — one of those memories that stays with you for a lifetime.
This handsome little man had a great time running around at the park. He finally decided that I’d tried hard enough for a picture so he looked right at me… for about .2 seconds and then he was gone again!

This family was a lot of fun. The guys were all great sports as we moved from field to field to get some great family portraits.
We found this little grassy area with trees right behind one of their fields. You never know when a another fantastic location is going to present itself!

I had so much fun with this family. Mom had several great ideas that we ran with. Mom and dad were in favor of wandering around their property capturing some great moments too:
This cute little cowboy had the most handsome deep eyes and the sweetest personality:
His little sister is a doll. She has the most outgoing and adventurous personality!
This was one of our last shots of the day and it’s one of my favorites. I love silhouette pictures and the emotion they convey.
